CF Napa Designs Luxury Rum for Romero
Following the launch of their core line of craft rums, Alberta-based Romero Distilling Co. returned to CF Napa to create the packaging for their new Sherry Cask Finish, Cask Strength Rum. This luxurious new offering was being finished in an Oloroso Sherry cask imported from Spain – the design needed to express this opulence and create a visual point of difference from the rest of the portfolio.
CF Napa continued the Prohibition Era-inspired design on the custom vintage whiskey-style bottle CF Napa originally designed for Romero. The label was transformed from the cream utilized for the core rums to a rich black with gold foil detail.
CF Napa took inspiration from traditional Champagne houses and added a diagonal red stripe to signify this rum as Romero Distilling Co.’s crème de la crème. A gold tax band lent a final handcrafted touch and a reminder of the care put into each bottle.
